Going Home / Balik Kampung
My parents’ home is in another city inside of Yamagata. I sometimes go back there to see my parents and granma.
“Going home” is “Balik Kampung” in Malay. I like this phrase.
Usually I go there by car (for about 1.5h), but this time I used another way.
At Sakata Station… A local train bound for Shinjo Station.

At Shinjo Station.
Yamagata Shinkansen (superexpress) bound for Tokyo starts from this station.
A “Tsubasa” was staying there.

Each Shinkansen has its own name… Yamagata Shinkansen is called “Tsubasa”, that means “wing”.
Mine is coming. This is a new style car.

I’ll get off the Shinkansen at the 2nd station from Shinjo.
Susuki (Japanese pampas grass) is bending in the wind. Susuki is one of the symbols of autumn in Japan.

Rice feilds after reaping.

We’ll soon arrive at my hometown, Murayama.
